Your smile is an essential element in your self-esteem
Oral hygiene is fundamental to good oral health. Removing plaque prevents tooth and gum disease and keeps teeth smooth, white and shiny.
Healthy, tartar-free teeth are a prerequisite for whitening. Not recommended for heavy smokers and pregnant women.
Restorations and crowns do not change colour with whitening. If they exist on previous teeth, they should be replaced after whitening.
We can whiten to improve the colour of our natural teeth.
Types of tooth whitening
In the office
The whitening gel is placed on the visible surface of the teeth for 30 to 60 minutes. It may be necessary to put on gum protection. A light catalysing the whitening reaction is placed on some techniques.
At home
The whitening gel is placed in the customised trays for between 2 and 4 weeks. The trays are made in the laboratory from a model of the patient's mouth.
At the BMQ clinic
we believe that whitening should be planned for each clinical case after a careful assessment.
We believe that the best external whitening is a combination of in-office whitening followed by at-home whitening.
